FASHION AND GO GO BOOTS IN THE 60'S n
the 60s/70s teenagers wanted to show how different they were from their
parents and perhaps more important yet, from their older brothers and
sisters. If the last fashion had long hair and wide trousers then the
next one would have short hair and narrow trousers. There seemed to be
a lot of truth in that. 1968 was an year of action. In the world of arts
there were a lot of creativity and in social world there were moments
of students protests. Music and theatre also changed a lot. The essence
of the 60s seemed to be limited to the world of fashion, with bell-bottom
pants, bright and psychedelic colors, exaggerated eye shows and make-up
and bow count hairs, but today the moment is presented with music, arts
and politics, given the impression that we are living all those things
again. |
