Ms. Homer practices exclusively in the areas of Probate Litigation and Conservatorship Disputes.
Betty was born and raised in San Francisco, California. While in law school, she was a member of a law review, the Hastings International and Comparative Law Journal. During this time, the journal selected her paper from among many, for publication.
Ms. Homer had the privilege of working as an extern for the Honorable James Larson, the current Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of California. She also clerked for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and then at an intellectual property law firm.
After being admitted to the State Bar in 2001, Ms. Homer practiced in the areas of intellectual property; business law; and insurance defense, bad faith and coverage law, with well-known firms including an AmLaw 100 firm, before joining Gaw Van Male in 2005.. |
