I got a freelance job to create this program for Canada College - Redwood City Community Theatre - The Music Man. Part of my payment was a business card size ad (see above program) in the same program.

in 1980 BHA is purchased by industry famous Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB) – a big feather in our cap. DDB was known as probably the most creative ad agency in our time.

Sam Wo is a famous little restaurant in Chinatown, San Francisco. The head waiter, Edsel Ford Fong, was a notorius character who toyed with the customers - people would come just to see his act.
My buddy Jon Berg and I used to walk to the 3 story building (and about as wide a 2 garage) for lunch. You had to walk right through the kitchen where the employees were making the food. Then on up to the 2nd story where Edsel performed.
One time Jon and I sat down and were making, we guessed later, too much chatter and laughter (you can't one-up Edsel's performance). He came over to our table with 2 stacks of plates, handed them to us and told us to take them upstairs - quickly! We went up, handed the plates to the waiter upstairs and then he quickly seated us at a new table. We sat down and realized we had been tricked by the Edsel. Ah, fun times.
