I received this for either my birthday 07/04/1964 or Christmas 12/25/1964. I was 8 years old and living in Roseville, Minnesota. This book made a major impact on me as far as becoming an artist (beautiful pen and ink drawings by Larry Toschik) and appreciating nature. I always had an affinity with nature and this book in indicative of it.
