Got Cali Mau (cat). Breed: Calico or Tortoise Shell. Stephie's friend's cat had kittens and most were headed to the pound.
I had been choosy about a replacement to Ming Tao - so Stephie sadly said to Dee Dee "I'm Ok if Steve doesn't like/want her" Dee Dee brought her over - I took one look at the cute little bugger and said "she's in!"
As a kitten Cali used to sleep on top of Stephie's head when she went to sleep. Too cute.
When Stephie got older and moved out on her own, Cali became my pal. If I was in the office - she was in one of the chairs or someones lap. She would follow me outside, to bed and of course to the kitchen.
She died 15 years later Sept. 2013 : (
